Mr. Heald, who was 80, died Tuesday at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Theresa M. Heald; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Martin of Metuchen and Mrs. Helen Worden and Mrs. Evelyn Lopes of Staten Island;three sons, Howard, Chester and George A. Geirge A. Heald died yesterday after a lengthy illness in his home at195 Crowell Ave., westerleigh. His age was 80.
Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Mr. Heald had lived on the island for more than 50 years. He was a pipefitter for Bethlehem Steel Co. until his retirement 15 years ago. He was a member of Port Richmond Lodge of Moose.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Mary; three sons, George A. Jr., of 22 Mersereau Ave., Marriners Harbor; Chester, of 31 Carolina Pl., Westerleigh, and Howard, of 34 Forest St., Bulls Head; three daughters,Mrs. Grace Martin of Metuchen, N.J.; Mrs. Helen Worden of the home address; and Mrs. Evelyn Lopes of 27 Maine Ave., Westerleigh; a brother Harry of Elizabeth, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
