Bobbie Jean Jones Roberts peacefully went to heaven on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Bobbie was born in Fort Worth at All Saints Hospital on December 26, 1941. She is the daughter of W.T and Lillian Jones, both of whom preceded her in death. Bobbie is married to Laurence Roberts of Fort Worth. Bobbie graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1960. The bulk of her career was spent at General Dynamics working in administration. She retired from General Dynamics in the mid 1990's. Of all Bobbie's many accomplishments in life, perhaps her greatest legacy is the wonderful influence she had on the many children she taught about the Bible and Jesus in her 3rd grade Sunday School class at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. She taught the 3rd grade class for over two decades.

Bobbie is joined in going to heaven with her sister, Binnie Strother. Bobbie will be remembered for her enduring Christian faith, her amazing sense of humor, and her unrivaled courage in the face of tremendous physical challenges.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Roger Jefferies, of Austin, Texas; her husband, Laurence Roberts of Fort Worth; her sister and brother in-law Jerry and Billie Keeton of Fort Worth; and her many nieces and nephews and cousins throughout Texas.

Please send any donations in her memory to Travis Avenue Baptist Church.
