Nancy was the consummate homemaker – skilled in entertaining, cooking, baking, gardening, and amazing at crochet. She was very focused on her family and loved being a mother and grandmother. She was also very proud of her career as a CNA, employed with NHC Home Health Care for more than 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wright, Sr; four of her children, Phillip Berns, John Everit Berns, James “Jim” Wright, Jr., and Linda Wright; her parents, Irene and William Clingerman; her step-father, Glen Magnuson; her grandmother, who was like a mother to her, Mamie Heintzelman; two sisters and three brothers.
Left to treasure Nancy’s memory are her children, William Dale Burns, Mary Cashon (Rick), Angela Tingle (Eddie), and Teresa Jones (Simon); sisters, Ruth Douglas and Mary Walls (Bud); brother, Tony Clingerman (Janice); 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
