On Thursday, Dec 31, 2020, Jay Myers passed away at the age of 78. Jay was born on Oct. 24, 1942, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Bob and Dorothy Myers.
He enlisted into the Army in 1964 and served in the Vietam War until 1966.
He then worked for Air America in Thailand as a flight mechanic and continued to work overseas as a pilot in New Guinea and Singapore. He retired as a log truck owner-operator in 2007. He enjoyed boating and working on cars.
Jay is survived by his wife, Kay, of 50 years; daughters, Debbie and Christine Myers, son-in-law Erik Haus, grandson, Quinn Haus, brothers David and Dan, and sister, Joan.
