Kathleen Marie “Katie” Davis, 36, passed from this life to the next on Monday, January 11, 2021. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11AM at St. Rita Catholic Church with interment to follow at 2PM in the Hico Cemetery, Hico, Texas. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine, Ranger, on Thursday beginning at 6PM, with rosary being said at 7PM.
Kathleen Marie Davis was born on, June 6, 1984 in Irving, Texas to Gerald Lee and Verna Katherine (Gulley) Davis. Katie was Catholic and attended services at both St. Rita and St. John Catholic Churches. She enjoyed swimming, babies, dogs, and fishing. She participated in Special Olympics in track, bowling, and basketball. Katie had a great love for Winnie the Pooh. She was greatly loved by many, and will be missed terribly.
Survivors include her mother, Verna Davis of Ranger; father, Gerald Davis of Tacoma, WA; sister, Andrea Pfau and husband, Justin of Weatherford; brothers, Thomas Davis and wife, Paula of Fort Worth and Matthew Davis of Ranger; maternal grandmother, Margaret Ann Gulley; niece, Kailey Pfau; nephews, Jaiden Pfau, Alijah Pfau, and Justin Pfau Jr.; and numerous aunts.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; maternal grandfather; and several uncles.
