Jacqueline “Jackie” Patrick Wright, 89, of 802 Thompson Street, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Clayton Wright and daughter of the late Boyd Patrick and Nannie Phillips Patrick.
She retired from Timken and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church.
Surviving is a grandson, Christopher Scott Pennington (Robin) of Simpsonville, S.C.; a son-in-law, Roy Dean Pennington of Gaffney; great-grandchildren, Clayton Elizabeth Pennington and Noah Scott Pennington; sisters, Willie Ruth Dobbins of Spartanburg and Myree Corbett of Gaffney.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Lynn Wright Pennington and a sister, Doris Pettit.
Graveside services will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: East Gaffney Baptist Church, 2308 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
The family will be at their respective homes.
