Daniel Wright, 90, of Salisbury, departed this life on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Salisbury. Born in Rocky Ford, GA, he was the son of the late Charlie Wright and Ollie Davis Wright.
Mr. Wright retired from J.V. Wells Lumber Company in Sharptown.
He will be lovingly remembered by: a daughter, Deborah Pratt (John Riley); three sons, David Wright, Daniel Wright, Jr., and Jerome Wright, Sr.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys Wright Balam, Janie Wright Higgins, and Luella Wright Anderson, and three brothers, Thomas Wright, Willie Wright, and Jacob Wright.
Mr. Wright will lie in repose on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 11 AM to 12 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A., 1618 West Road, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc., West Road, Salisbury.
