Delbert “Red” E. Roberts, 92 of Lodi, OH passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home following a short illness.
He was born July 14, 1928 in Spencer, WV to the late Hoyt and Emma (Miller) Roberts. His family moved to Spencer, Ohio and then to Chatham where he graduated from Chatham High School.
Delbert entered the U.S. Army in October of 1950, serving in Korea until his discharge in August of 1952.
He married Delores V. Horner on Sept. 6, 1953. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage before her passing on July 12, 2004.
They resided in Lodi where Delbert operated Roberts & Son Construction for many years.
He and his family and friends were avid campers. He enjoyed mowing his 5+ acres, gardening, and doing for others. Delbert also loved the time he spent with his family at the many cookouts they held during the years.
He is survived by his children: Robin (Becky) Roberts, Cindy (Jeff, deceased) Eby, and Mark (Rhonda) Roberts.
