We regret to announce the passing of Richard Keith Buckley of Whitesboro, NY, age 66
Richard is survived by his three daughters, Alexandra (Lexie), Jessica, and Elizabeth, his grandson, Jasper James (Elizabeth’s son), his sister, Terri Innes, and brother, Tom Buckley. Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Poole, in 2000.
Richard was born on August 26, 1954 in St. Cloud, MN. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended Cal State Long Beach, graduating with a degree in finance and a minor in real estate.
Richard enjoyed the outdoors, loved sailing around St. Augustine, FL and along the Californian coast. He enjoyed scuba diving, skiing, and hiking. Richard was an avid football and baseball player in his youth. He loved spending time with his three daughters and grandson Jasper (born in 2019). Lexie was born in 1990, Jessica in 1993, and Elizabeth in 1997.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The family will notify loved ones in the future when an event is planned. ” Arrangements are with the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. 40 Main St. Whitesboro.
