Abner was educated at Penfield Ga. but never engaged in business as he was from boyhood a great sufferer from dyspepsia and was very frail. he worked on his father's farm(Peter Northen) He was tall, slender and brunette and from a childhood a member of the Baptist Church at Penfield He died happy in the faith.
