Paul W Scott, 84 of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Wilbarger St. Church of Christ with Ronnie Swan officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Paul was born Tuesday, May 19, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma he was the son of the late Archie Scott and the late Opal Robison Scott. He married Una Huff on August 8, 1964 in Vernon, Texas. He was Co-Owner of Archie Scott Cars and trucks, Owner of The Tire Shop, he was a rancher and he owned rent house properties. He was a founding member of Texas Auto and Track Parts Association. He was a member of Wilbarger St. Church of Christ.
Paul is survived by his wife Una Faye Scott of the home. his daughters, Cynthia Echols and husband Bobby of Vernon, TX, Janice White of Vernon, TX, Brenda Haynes of Vernon, TX and Sharon Stone and husband Jim of Sugar Land, TX; 7 grandchildren; Tiffany Echols, Chelsea Echols, McKinsey Haynes Akin, Melanie Haynes, Miranda Haynes Perez, Jeana Stone Goldfarb, and Justin Stone and nine great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two grandsons Michael Paul Echols and Jay Stone. his son-in-law David Haynes.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
