Richard Rinker of San Antonio passed away on January 10, 2021 at home surrounded by family. The youngest of 9 children, he was born in Hamilton, Kansas on January 24, 1931. Richard "Dick" attended West Point Military Academy, Class of 1956 and proudly served in the U. S. Army achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel until he retired in March, 1980. He was an avid hunter and fisherman which were his favorite hobbies. He was a grand storyteller of his life experiences and could easily talk about any subject.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, daughter, step-son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, siblings, other relatives and many friends.
Rest in peace, sir.
