Mrs. Adams was born February 14, 1947 in Wilkes County to Columbus Edmond Blackburn and Carrie Lille Smith Blackburn.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Adams; sons, Randall Blackburn (Linda) and Billy Adams (Donna); daughters, Loretta Poindexter and Amanda Adams; sister, Lyvonne Woodring.
A graveside service will be held at the Adams Family Cemetery in Elkin.
