Debra “Debbie” Sue Jordan, 58, of Petersburg, Illinois, peacefully passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Generations Nursing Home in Lincoln, Illinois.
Debbie was very proud of her career of 30 years as a Respiratory Therapist. She cherished her time spent working with children in the pediatric unit. She loved her dogs and she also loved to travel.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Ray of 38 years; sons, Mark Jordan, Daniel Jordan and Matthew (Emma) Jordan; daughter, Hannah “Avery” Jordan; mother, Barbara Eddings; brothers, James (Kim) Eddings andJeffrey (Linda) Eddings and four grandchildren.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Jim Eddings; a daughter, Rebecca Jordan; father-in-law, Rev. Robert Jordan; her grandparents, several uncles and an aunt.
A gathering will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 10 am to 11 am at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. A graveside service will be held following the gathering at 11:30 am at Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 1230 W. Monroe St., Petersburg, Illinois 62675, the Children’s Miracle Network at 205 W. 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, or the charity of your choice.
