She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvie Emerson; one son, Wesley Allen Emerson; two brothers, James McDaniel and Donald McDaniel; one sister, Louise Wooten and one grandson, Tony Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Emerson (Jo Claire) of Bend, Oregon and Donald Emerson (Kathy) of Simpsonville, South Carolina; two daughters, Kathy West (Howard) of Batesville and Helen Smith (Danny) of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one brother, Earle McDaniel of Okeechobee, Florida; one sister, Janis Phillips of Coalgate, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with William West, Michael West and Jonathan Witcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Batesville.
