Services for Wanda Sue Vaughn, 74, of Marietta, OK are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, in the Rawhide Cowboy Church in Ardmore, OK with Trent Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, OK under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.

Wanda was born on January 4, 1947 in Courtney, OK, the daughter of Lina “Sweetie” (Tom) and Albert Melton Holland. She passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, Ada, OK.

Wanda was a lifelong resident of Love County. She attended school at Burneyville, Turner, and Leon where she participated in basketball and softball. Wanda worked at the Marietta Cookie Shop for five years before retiring from Michelin Tire Company. After retirement, she worked as a private caregiver and babysitter. She married the love of her life Frankie Vaughn on May 8, 1992 in Gainesville, TX. Wanda was proud of her Choctaw heritage and worked at the Chickasaw taco sales annually. She was a strong Christian woman who enjoyed reading her Bible. Wanda was a member of the Rawhide Cowboy Church. She loved to travel within the U.S. with her sisters. Wanda loved attending the sporting events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the Holland’s get-togethers with her siblings. Wanda, known by her grandkids as Nan, cared for her family dearly and loved spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband, Frankie Vaughn of the home; son, Brad McKinnon and wife Deanne of Lone Grove, OK; daughter, Latisha Woods and husband Kevin of Irene, SD; sisters, Valine Stonebarger of Marietta, (twin sister) Gloria Willis and husband Ben of Marietta, Alta Carroll of Greenville, Corenia Hurst and husband Don of Marietta, Mary Shellenberger of Greenville, and JoAnn Pollard and husband Terry of Burneyville; brother, Dennis Holland and wife Robin of Burneyville; uncle and aunts, Jack and Juanita Holland of Burneyville, Bernice Berry of Burneyville, and Edna Holland of Burneyville; grandchildren, Kendra McKinnon of Marietta, Emily Monroe and husband Dustin of Kilgore, TX, Hunter McKinnon of Marietta and boyfriend Will Shelby, Dalton Hess of Springer, OK, and Annabelle Love of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Madison, Sophie, Joslyn, and Maxx; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lina Holland; and brothers, Albert Wayne Holland, Virgil Holland, and John Holland.

Casket bearers are Gunner Kincaide, Donnie Hurst, Barry Hurst, Dale Carroll, Tim Holland, and Daniel Holland. Honorary bearers are Dustin Monroe and Will Shelby.

Time of visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
