Electra - Mary Lee Marsh, age 91, of Electra, Texas passed away on January 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Aulds Funeral of Electra with Rev. Bob Lee, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Electra, officiating. Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Aulds Funeral Home. Due to Covid, the family requests that you wear your mask at all times.
Mary Lee was born January 8, 1930 in Electra, Texas to Edward Eugene Bowery and Mary Katherine Barnes Bowery. She graduated from Electra High School in 1947.
She married Johnnie Marsh on June 22, 1948 in Electra and they were married seventy-two years.
Mary Lee spent the majority of her time as a stay at home mom raising her kids and grandkids with a few part-time jobs along the way.
She enjoyed watching her sons play sports and played spades in her spare time.
Mary Lee was preceded in death by numerous life long friends and family members including Ed and Mary Bowery; eleven brothers and sisters; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Marsh.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie ; sons, Randy and John Lee and his wife, Tricia; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Wendell, Zandy Luig and husband, Clint, Jason Marsh and wife, Christina, Zachary Marsh, Aiden Marsh, Michael Marsh and wife, Robbie, Branden Marsh and Kendall Marsh; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous special nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family suggests memorials to Electra Cemetery Fund, 101 North Main, Electra, Texas 76360.
