Ruth Marie Phillips
87 of Indianapolis passed away December 19, 2020. She was born August 22, 1933 in Paxton, Indiana the daughter of Roy Otto and Tressa Louise Thrasher.
Ruth enjoyed painting, was an avid Reds fan and was a 1951 graduate from Sullivan High School.
She is survived by her children, Regina (Lester) Dalton, Renate (Doug) Hayes, John (Beth) Phillips, and Craig (Lisa) Phillips; son in law, Marlin Morris; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Phillips, daughter, Donna Morris, three sisters, Maxine Dillingham, Elizabeth Johns and Jean Anderson; a brother, Roy Thrasher Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Center Ridge Cemetery, Sullivan, Indiana.
