64, 01-Jan, Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park.∼Judy "JuJu" Elaine Farmer, 64, gave her final salute on January 1, 2021. She was born on March 7, 1956 to Mary and James Farmer in Evansville, Indiana.
After graduating from Evansville's Bosse High School, Judy went on to serve our country in the United States Army. While enlisted, she studied as a Military Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. Her last assignments stationed her in sunny California; and in 1977, was honorably discharged as an SP4. After her years of service, Judy went on to work at Whirlpool for 17 years. She was a wanderlust who loved to travel and had the goal of visiting all 50 states. Judy was always a caring person. She had a special fondness for animals, especially horses and dogs. Throughout her life she had three beloved pups, Chloe, Tara, and Catalina. Judy wore her heart on her sleeve and she was someone you could always depend on. She was a kind and giving soul. Although Judy's life was already fulfilling, the time she spent loving and caring for her family is what made her life beautiful.
Judy is survived by her siblings, Jackie Garrison, Jean (Ralph) Day, Charles (David) Farmer; her nieces and nephews, Brandi Justus, Codi (James) Funk, Toni (Zach) Mason, Jeff (Regina) Barnes, Shannon Kellough, David (Dimple) Barnes, and Cliff Harger; and many loving great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding Judy in passing are her parents; her two sisters, Mary Louise Kellough and Bonnie Sue Farmer; and her lifelong friend, Jo Anne Schaus.
Services for Judy will be held in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. There will be an hour of visitation starting at 12:00pm with the service starting at 1:00pm.
