William Jerry Ellison III, age 43 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. Jerry was born in Oxford, Ohio on February 2, 1977 to William Jerry and Rosa (nee Thompson) Ellison. Jerry graduated from Fairfield High School in 1995. He worked as a machinist for 20 years. Jerry had a passion for music, enjoyed reading and above all, loved being a papaw to his grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his children, Jordyn Ellison and Logan Ellison; his parents, Jerry and Rosa Ellison; his grandchildren, Addisyn, Stella and Jensyn Daniels; his siblings, Daniel (Julie) Ellison, Matthew Ellison and Tiffany Flemming; his nephews, Brodhi and Ulysses; his niece, Arya; his grandmother, Helen Ellison; his grandfather, William Thompson; his beloved dog, Asha; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his best friend, Ulysses Craig Collett; his grandparents, Robert Earl and Mary Sue Cooper; his grandfather, William S. Ellison; his uncles, Chuckie Bellmore and Richard Helton; and his cousin, Doug Briscoe.
Funeral service will be held at Seven Mile Baptist Church, 4021 Hamilton-Eaton Road, Seven Mile, Ohio, on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Everett Back officiating. Burial will follow at College Corner Cemetery.
