Richard D. Shook was born on January 17, 1939 Yakima, Washington to George Shook and Hazel Pearl McLindsay and passed on away on January 9, 2021 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 23 days.
Rocky raised 5 girls and helped raise his grandchildren. He enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the weather and watching nature. He enjoyed listening to classical music, Patsy Cline, and all country music. Rocky loved listening to the Barrett Jackson Car auction. He enjoyed talking hotrods to anyone who would listen.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife: Margie Shook, son: Rocky Lane Shook, daughter: Rebecca Shook, grandson: Zeke Robinson, 3 brothers: Jim and Earl Shook, Virgil Yohn, and sister: Ida Mae Otto.
He is survived by 6 daughters: Melissa Parker and husband Dany of Lebanon, Tennessee, Judy Mae Gonzalis and Husband Antino of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Lasonya Shook, and Jeff Robinson both of Westville, Oklahoma, Vickie Couch and husband Robert of Coerdalene, Idaho, Dana Smith and husband John of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kimberly Shook of the home in Westville, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Kyle Fields of Westfork, Arkansas and Casey Fields of Joplin, Missouri, Justin and Tyler Chamberlin both of Colcord, Oklahoma, Bradon Gonzalis of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Austin and Jordan Couch of Coerdalene, Idaho, Mary Loisate of Spokane, Washington, Austin Dexter of Lakeland, Florida, Tanner and Abigail Robinson of Westville, Oklahoma, Ashley Barr of Colcord, Oklahoma, Chassica Smith of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Mason Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Mikey Shook of Seattle, Washington. Brothers and sisters: Russ and Linda Shook, Tom and Gloria Shook, Chuck Yohn, and John and Susan Shook all of Washington. A host of great grandchildren also survive him.

Graveside services were held at 10 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
