Robert E. Norman, age 79, of New Vienna, passed away at Four Seasons on January 7, 2021.

Born in McCarr, Kentucky on February 25, 1941, he was the son of Charles T. and Virginia Stepp Norman.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Seaman Norman, whom he married June 18, 1961.

Bob was a 1959 graduate of Martinsville High School, and attended Cincinnati Bible College and Miller Business College.

He was currently active in sales with Schuler Quality Homes of New Vienna and had formerly been associated with Conchemco, Nashua, Zimmer, Elsea Homes and Waverly Mobile Home companies, and was semi-retired from East Clinton Schools.

Bob was also an active member of then New Vienna Fire and EMS, where he served as Chief and was a founding member of the original District 6, and one of four founding members of the original New Vienna EMS.

He was a past Vice President of the OSFA and a member of New Vienna and Mount Olive Church of Christ, along with being a member of CMEA. Bob was a 50-year plus member of the Dalton Lodge 578. He had also been a Community Action Representative of New Vienna.

In addition to his wife, Ann, Bob is survived by his children, Christine Norman, Robert E. "Bobby" (Mariea) and Ben E. (Robin) Norman, all of New Vienna. Also left to cherish his memory are eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Laura Norman; and brothers-in-law, James B. Seaman and Clifford Neat.

Bob was preceded by siblings, Pattie West and Charles Norman.

Family will receive friends at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ, New Vienna, on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service to be held following the funeral service. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to: Clinton-Highland Fire District #6 or the Mount Olive Church of Christ.
