IN MEMORIAM
Mr. David Coiner, of Long Meadow, died at his home on Tuesday, the 14th, inst., after a brief illness of heart disease. The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Mr. White, at St. James Church, where his remains were laid to rest in the family burying lot to await the resurrection of the dead. Mr. Coiner had been a consistent member of the Waynesboro Methodist church for many years, and was widely known and esteemed for his many sterling qualities as a good, Christian man, noted for his integrity and uprightness. He was a devoted husband, an affectionate father, and a kind neighbor. He leaves a sorrowing wife, nine children, and many relatives and friends to mourn their loss. He will be sadly missed form the community in which he lived, but more so, around the fireside in the home circle. May the Lord bless and comfort the bereaved family, and at last reunite them in the land of the pure and good. "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believed in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
