Diana M. Jordan McNees,69, passed away January, 2021 at Hospice House in Ft. Worth. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, January 15, 2021, at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
She was born May 22, 1951 in Borger, Texas to Franklin and Mary Jordan. Diana grew up in Borger and graduated from Borger High School in 1969. After high school she attended college at Southwest Adventist College in Keene, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in nursing and she began working at John Peter Smith Hospital in 1998 as a RN where she worked for 15 years, until she retired in 2013.
Diana married Gary Eakins in 1969 in Borger, and they were happily married for 13 years. She enjoyed making ceramic dolls, spending time with family, watching her favorite tv shows, and chocolate.
Diana was preceded in death by her son, Ricky McNees; parents, Franklin Jordan and Mary Jordan.
Diana is survived by her son, Mark Eakins; daughter, Tammy Eakins-Flores; brothers, Danny Jordan, Gary Jordan; granddaughters, Gabby Flores and Leah Flores.
