Nellie J. Yarde, 92, of Arvada, CO, formally of Kewanee, died Sunday, January 3, 2020, at home surrounded by family. She was born August 22, 1928 in Reed Point, Montana, the daughter of Ora and Eugenia (Ditmars) Thurman. Nellie married Dale Yarde on September 6, 1949 in Jacksonville, IL; he preceded her in death in 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dale.
Nellie last worked as a teller at Peoples National Bank in Kewanee before retiring in 1990. She relocated to Colorado in 2009. Nellie enjoyed reading and was an avid cross-stitch craftsperson.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
