She is survived by her children, Lynn (Paula) Hubbard of Hagerstown, IN, Jill Hubbard of Springfield, Dale Hubbard (wife, Paula) of Granite City, Ruth Ann (Bill) Lancaster of Granite City, and Tom Hubbard of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Ana (Cecil) Crawford, Teresa (Mike) Harmer, Katie Hubbard, Adam (Leslie) Lancaster, Luke (Rita) Lancaster, Andrew (fiancé, Allison Sutton) Lancaster, and Christa (Brady) Griffith; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Ruth Easley, Willard Goodrick, Marjorie Patrick, Gladys Flynn, and Betty H. Fernandes.
Phyllis was a class of 1947 Jacksonville High School graduate. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church for 71 years. She taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. She worked for JCPenney’s for 30 years in the catalog department, and Volunteered with the Morgan County Meals on Wheels for several years.
A private service will be held with burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
