Bobbie Beech Davis, age 76, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Bobbie was a graduate of Washington County High School in Chatom, Alabama and attended Nursing School at Mobile Infirmary. Bobbie was a talented bowler and was the only woman asked to play in the All Men’s National Bowling Tournament in 1994, the first year it was held in Mobile. She was also a very skilled seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arnold Davis, Jr.; mother, Annie Lois Bunn; father, Herman Clayton Beech; grandmother, Mamie Grimes; brother, Douglas Beech; and uncle, W.J. Grimes.

Survivors include her children, Donna McAleer Furrow, Leon Davis (Mechelle), Kathryn Paz, and Clayton Davis (Jamie); grandchildren, Jason Furrow (Heather), Matthew Furrow (Abbey), Richard Barry “Cub” McAleer, III, Maegen Furrow (Cody), Jordan Davis, Logan Davis, Roberto Paz (Sherree), Deanna Estella Paz, Jade Davis, Jasmine Mallett (Dustin), Myah Dodich (Austin), and Cody Davis (Arianna); great-grandchildren, Madisen, Brayton, Hanson, Carter, Parker, Ryker, Marlee, Murphy, Jade, Opal, Dorothy, Levi, and Harrison; sisters, Nettie Phillips and Betty Richmond; brothers, Butch Bunn (Jo Ann) and Tony Bunn; longtime best friend and “Sis”, Diane “DJ” Jones; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service on Saturday at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
