Sheila Rose Bailey, age 55, of Albion passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday, January 9th, 2021.

Sheila was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Gerald “Sonny” and Patricia “Pat” (Gabriel) McKinney on May 26, 1965. She had worked at Champion Labs before experiencing health issues. Sheila was a kidney transplant recipient and was given an additional 22 years of life from her brother Brian McKinney and her family is forever grateful. Sheila was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and all around good person with a heart of gold. She was loved deeply and will be forever missed by many.

Sheila is survived by three children, Tim (Jessica) Bailey of Newburgh, Indiana, Tina Bailey of Albion, and Tammy (Johnny) Dahlke of Charleston, Illinois; Nine beloved grandchildren, Lance Bailey, Annah Roby, Ashlyn Bailey, Brooke Bailey, Elexis Wolf, Gwen Hartsock, Eoin Dahlke, Finola Dahlke, and Eamonn Dahlke; Five brothers, Brian (Christy) McKinney, Eddie (Elaine) McKinney, Richie McKinney and Kenney McKinney of Olney and Johnny McKinney of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Sheila in death were her parents, siblings Jerry Hartman, Frank Hartman, Mike Hartman, Mickey Hartman, Patty Hartman, and Jimmy McKinney.
