She was raised and received her education in Salmon, Idaho, and later in Montana, where she went on to marry Harley White on June 5, 1928, in Butte. She operated a boarding house in Mt. Diablo, California, where her brother ran the Mt. Diablo Quicksilver Mine. She then went to Longview, Washington, where she capably operated a patching planer for the Longbell Lumber Company. She followed her family to Napa in 1956 and began working as a Psychiatric Technician at Sonoma State Hospital, where she remained until her retirement in 1972.
She enjoyed playing bingo and had a love for all animals. Louise and her home were always open for all of her family and friends, who will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harley, and sister, Dorothy Stephenson.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday at 1 1 a.m. at Treadway and Wigger Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Rudy Holland, pastor of Napa Valley Baptist Church, officiating.
Friends may call on Monday between 3 and 8 p.m.
