Thomas married Matte Eugenia Kennedy,October 24,1897 In Harris, Georgia. they had five children Thomas Eugene,Matte Martha,James Quincy,Joesph Alwin. Frank Jerome Kaney.He was a Supertendent of the Railroad,also a Catholic.Thomas had five sisters,and three brothers,Elizabeth Nancy K.Cushman, Janie Thersa K.Toole,Bridget K.Purvis,Paula Ann Kaney,Rosella K. Williams.Michael Dennis Kaney,James Michael Kaney Jr.,Peter Ignatius Kaney. Today In Tampa they had a write up about Mr. Kaney's poinsettias in 1949.He had a number of grandchildren.
