Dennis Dean Stevens, 72, of Burlington passed away at 4:46 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Great River Medical Center ED in West Burlington.
Born June 6, 1948 in Burlington, he was the son of Glenn Earl & Gertrude Marie (Mewes) Stevens. He married Bonnie Jean Lee July 3, 1987 in Morning Sun, Iowa.
Dennis graduated in 1967 from Burlington High School. After graduating he served in the Army in the Vietnam war. He was a mechanic and delivery driver for varies companies like Sickel’s Dry Cleaners.
He was of Protestant faith.
Dennis enjoyed cars, music, camping, model cars, riding and collecting bicycles and he was in a band called Tom & the 3D’s. He set a record in track at James Madison School.
