Judy retired from JC Penny’s as a hairstylist after over 30 years. Her interest included, gardening and making crafts for friends and family. Judy loved reading and studying the Bible; and sharing Jesus Christ with others.
She passed away with the grace and dignity, with which she lived her life, through all of her physical struggles during the last years of her life.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Charlotte Ann Morgan, who was her greatest encourager; a niece, Cara A. Morgan and her husband Lawrence Huebner; an uncle, Donald Blane Short; and a host of cousins.
Special thanks to Cheryl Sears, Dorothy Harrell, Festus Palmer and the other staff of Commonwealth Churchland House and PACE of Portsmouth for all their care and support.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Dennis Hollowell. Viewing hours will be on Tuesday from 2 – 5 PM at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
