Randall Reese
Randall Clay “Randy” Reese, 55, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on May 25, 1965 to Beverly Peters and Henry Clay Reese in Beaumont.
Randy was born and raised in the north end of Beaumont, Texas, where he made lifelong friendships. He graduated in 1983 from French High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball. He graduated from Lamar in 1988 with a BBA in Business.
He married his high school sweetheart, Myra Medina, in 1990. They had three sons who Randy loved with all his heart. In 2005, Myra went to be with Jesus. Randy poured his life into his sons, and they have grown to be young men their father was extremely proud of.
Randy was an avid sports fan. He shared his love of sports with his sons, and enjoyed coaching their teams as they grew up. Randy and his sons loved doing life together. They especially enjoyed watching games on tv while wearing the jersey of their favorite player.
Randy lived his life with purpose...to glorify the Lord and bring honor to Him. He raised his sons to do the same. His zest for life, his constant positivity, and his compassion for others will not be forgotten. It will live on in his sons and in the memory of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his three sons, Haden Reese, Houston Reese, and Holden Reese, all of Beaumont; mother, Beverly Reese, of Fannett; sisters, Brenda Walters and her husband, Charlie, of Lewisville and Deanna Gonzales and her husband, Donnie, of Beaumont; and nieces and nephews, Cody Walters, Chelsie Gonzales and Josh Gonzales.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Myra Reese and father, Henry Clay Reese.
A gathering of Mr. Reese’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 3650 Dowlen Road, Beaumont, followed by his interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
