A lifelong resident of Simsbury, Kelly was a savvy gardener who really understood the science of it all. She was very creative in everything she did, including jewelry design. She was an avid reader, loved music, movies and everything about the outdoors. Her spirit will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother, Gordon T. Gregory of Avon; her loving companion, Jeffrey Schiavone of West Hartford; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 10 a.m. at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Rd., Avon. Burial will follow in West Avon Cemetery, Avon. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
