Visitation for Sandra will be held, Tuesday, Janurary 12, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa. Graveside Service will take place Wednesday, January, 13, 2021, 11 a.m., at the Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock, Iowa, with Cheryl Gates officiating.
All guests are respectfully required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Sandra was born January 26, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Wilbur and Dorothy (Harry) Brandenburg.
Sandra married John “Jack” Hadley Sr. on November 25, 1959, at the First Congregational Church, Dubuque, Iowa.
She worked numerous places during her life but above all loved being a housewife and a Mom.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and Yatzee, going to the Casino and listening to Country Music, singing Karaoke. She also enjoyed having a diet pepsi and watching soap operas.
But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived and remembered by her children; Jeffrey ( Betty Cook) Hadley, Wanda (Terry) McDowell, both of Manchester, Lori (Don Albert) Hadley of Hazelton, Iowa, John (Rose) Hadley Jr. of Delaware Iowa, Amy (Stanetta) Hadley of Manchester, Julie (Martin) Hadley of Hopkinton, Iowa, Mark Findley, Maradee Fichtner; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sonny (Sharon) LeGrand, Alvin (Connie) LeGrand, Lee Goodin; sister, Susan Findley: sister-in-law, JoAnn Brandenburg and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sr.; mom, Elda (Donath) Goodin; parents, Wilbur and Dorothy Brandenburg; daughter, Penny Goodman; brothers, Timothy and Thomas; sisters, Debbie and Marlene Brandenburg.
