Jackie was a disabled veteran who served as crew chief in the army for the 90th engineer in 1964-1966 in the Korean War-Vietnam Era. Jackie was an amazing Daddy and the best Papa ever. He was a selfless man who lived for his family. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on January 7, 2021.
Jackie is survived by his children, Sherry Lynn and husband, David, Jackie "Bug" Jr. and wife, Melissa, Sarah Beth and husband, Paul, Jacquelyn, Winter and husband, Rey; sisters, Emma, Bonnie; Darlene; grandchildren: Brandon; Alex; Marisa; Jennifer; Sarah; Christopher; Caleb; Vanessa, Clarissa, Jadyn, Aden, Colby; Brooklyn, Mia, Vanessa,Clarissa; great-grandchildren, Sterling, Ben, Sadie, Samuel, Jacob, Jesiah, Kailyn, Isabella, Catalina, Logan, Allie, OJ, Camila. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless family and friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Bell Davis; father, Jack L. Davis; brothers, Weldon, Lennon, Junior, sisters; Alice, Violet, and Barbara.
Funeral services will be held at Mount Olivet,
2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX,on Friday, January 15th.
Chapel service at 12 p.m. with graveside services immediately following.
