Amy Annette García, age 59, a resident of Silver City, NM, met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 18, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM.
Amy was born on November 13, 1961 in Silver City, NM to Joe V. and Dora C. Sánchez. Her greatest joy was reading her Bible. Amy was a prayer warrior for the Lord and she enjoyed sharing her faith, encouraging others, her kids and grandkids whom went to her for advice all the time. Amy spent many hours sitting at her kitchen counter talking with them. Amy was a great example for her entire family.
Amy was married to the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Steve G. García for 41 years. They did everything together and were inseparable.
Amy graduated from Silver High School.
Amy loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Amy loved her pets, Stormi Jaxon and Dylan Riley. Amy had a love for tattoos. Amy enjoyed sleeping, doing crafts, reading, getting her nails done, buying and wearing lipstick and attending the Super Cross Event in Phoenix, AZ every year.
One of her greatest joys was riding the Harley Davidson with her husband. They loved to go on bike rides and bike runs.
This last year, she started her soaping business which will be carried on by her family. Amy will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Amy is survived by her father, Joe V. Sánchez, her loving husband, Steve G. García of the family home, one son, Steven N. García and his fiancée, Amanda Martínez, three daughters, Tanya G. López and her husband, Fermin, Audrey M. Gonzáles and her husband, Billy and Amber N. Cohn and her husband, Joseph, nine grandchildren, Britney, Brooklyn and Brailyn López, Jordan R. Ponce and her husband, Dustin, Michael, andJustyn Woods and Joseph, Briana and Jocelyn Cohn. Amy had one brother whom she loved very much, José D. Sánchez and his wife, Marisela.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Dora C. Sánchez.
No service will be held at her request.
