He was a graduate of Gate City High School, Graham Bible College and received a Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sherry Brewer Kendrick; his son, William Jay (Kellie) Kendrick; daughter, Laura Abigail (Rafael) Cruz; son, Michael Nathan (Samantha) Kendrick; granddaughter, Evelyn Audrey Kendrick; his parents, William J. and Patricia Kendrick; sister, Karen Lynn Waddell; brothers, Billy Kendrick and Johnny (Jill) Kendrick; sister-in-law, Karen (Bobby) Parsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Mike was ordained as a Minister in the Presbyterian Church of America in 1987 and served as a Senior Pastor of Cypress Wood Presbyterian Church and was currently serving as Congregational Care Pastor with Covenant Church of Naples.
