Virginia Deloise Shaw, 89, passed away Saturday night, January 9, 2021 at Silvercrest Villages Nursing Home in New Albany. She was born on February 27, 1931 the youngest of 15 in Fordsville, KY, to the late Joseph and Bessie Iler.
She was a payroll specialist at American Standard for 44 years and LOVED to read.
Virginia is survived by her son - Ryan Shaw (Casey); daughters - Rosalind Metzmeier (Fred) and Maralind Hess (Jeff); grandchildren - Rookie Metzmeier, Bryan Metzmeier and Tina Metzmeier; great-grandchildren - Lane & Luke Wilson, Abby & Tanner Metzmeier, Alex Drane and Phoebe Conrad.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded by her husband - Roy I. Shaw; son - Roy I. Shaw III; grandson - Nathan Wilson; 14 siblings.
Visitation will take place at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes on Wednesday, January 13th, 12-1 pm with a memorial service to follow. Burial Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Published in News Tribune January 11, 2021.
