Karen Case Keith, 45 of Hendersonville went home to be with her Lord Thursday, December 24, 2009 after a courageous five year battle with stage 4 cancer.
Mrs. Keith was born November 16, 1964 in Buncombe County where she had lived most of her life. Karen was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. She was a 1983 graduate of Enka High School and loved traveling to the Outer Banks. She was employed with TDM as an administrative assistant. Karen was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.
Karen is preceded in death by her father, Carl E. Case, Sr.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eric Keith; sons, Kyle and Kendall Keith of Hendersonville; mother, Ethel Smith Case of Arden; identical twin sister, Sheila Penland (Tracy) of Candler; brother, Carl “Eddie” E. Case, Jr. (Tammy) of Candler; two nieces, Jessica Owen (Zack) and Danielle Jenkins; nephew, Joshua Case; great nephew, Sawyer Owen; mother and father-in law, Charles and Daisy Keith; two sisters-in law, Stacey and Misty Keith; five aunts, one uncle; numerous cousins and her dog, Shorty.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jackie Collins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
