Former Arizona legislator and Burea of Indian Affairs School administrator George W. Eubank, died yesterday at Village Green Nursing Home.
Mr. Eubank, 70, who served from 1960-64 as a Republican representative in the state legislature, lived at 1017 W. Indianola.
Before serving as a legislator, he spent 31 years as a teacher and administrator with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Campbell, out of state; two sons, Samuel E. Eubank of Tempe and William P. Eubank and a sister, Mrs. Jesse Stuart, both of Phoenix and five grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made to Indian Woman’s Club scholarship fund in care of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Phoenix.
