After Allie died Bernard married twice in Oklahoma City to Nellie Beatrice Busick Anderson (24 Dec 1939 and 15 Oct 1942). Nellie was the daughter of Jim Busick and Martha Raines Busick. She was previously married to Charles Chessly Anderson and had two children: Edwin Earl Anderson 1906-1962 and Agnes Evelyn Anderson Eddings 1909-1945. Nellie died in Marshall, Texas and is buried in Oklahoma in Sunny Lane Cemetery with her daughter.
