GOOCH, Gene

Age 76, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Myrtle Gooch; son, Timothy Gooch; brother-in-law, Larry Buck. Gene served in the U.S. Army for two years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from GM after over 30 years. He was artistic, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and going on adventures. A handyman who loved taking things apart to fix them. He was a kind hearted grandfather who loved his family. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Diana Gooch; children, Scott (Ronnie) Gooch and Kiana (Brian) O’Reilly; grandchildren, Dillon, Matthew, Whit, Addie, Tucker, Cooper, and Griffin; brother, Marvin (Jean) Gooch; sisters, Linda Buck & Charlene Workman, and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Community Grace Brethren Church, 2261 S. Miami St, West Milton, OH 45383. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the Church, with interment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangement in care of GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE.
