Maynard E. Burch, 82 of rural Braddyville, died Thursday morning, January 26, 1995 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, where he had been a patient since Tuesday.
He was born April 12, 1912 near Shambaugh, the son of Moses and Arla Inez Carver Burch. On July 23, 1933, he was married to Toots Fishell, who survives.
Burch was a farmer and stockman in the Braddyville area his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Toots, of the home, and two children: Gilbert Burch, Braddyville, and Chere Horel, Albia. There are two grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and four great grandsons. Harold Buirch, Braddyville, is a brother, and Zora Bonar, Omaha, is a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Paul Bonar, one niece and one nephew.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 29, 1995, at the Baptist Church in Clearmont, Mo., with Don Barnett officiating. Burial was in Braddyville Cemetery.
Walker-Merrick Funeral Home, Clarinda, was in charge of arrangements.
