Mr. Nicholas Howell was born on January 15, 1984, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Cesare Howell and Sandra Howell Nicholas, better known as Nick, was a graduate of East Laurens High School class of 2002. After graduating from high school, Nick attended Georgia Southern University and was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Nick became a member of the John Wesley Lodge 161 and Omar Temple 21 Sons of Desert Shrine Club.
One of Nick’s proudest accomplishments was meeting and marrying the love of his life, Jasma. Nick and Jasma enjoyed life as a couple and as parents. Second to his family, Nick enjoyed his career in law enforcement which included employment with Jenkins County Sheriff’s Department, Georgia Southern Police Department, CCA Correction Facility, DJJ, and most recently Henry County Sheriff’s Department. While working as a law enforcement officer and raising a family with Jasma, Nick earned his M.A. in Public Administration. He transitioned from this life on January 3, 2021.
Nick leaves many to cherish his memory including his wife, Jasma; children, Yasmine Reynolds, Deveonte Stanley, Mack Trey Lakes, Savannah Howell, Madison Howell, Rashod Howell; his mother, Sandra Howell; in-laws, Charles (Adell) Reynolds; siblings, Michael Jones, Brian Howell, Melissa Mcpherson, Sheila Howell, Tonya Reynolds, Marlin (Nikeisha) Howell, Bernice Reynolds, Jennie (Shannon) Leak, Lucion Howell, Charles Reynolds, Jr.; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
