In 1987, he graduated from the University of Missouri with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Through the years he worked in clinics in Nevada, Ft. Scott and Jefferson City. Currently, Jeffrey was a Supervisor over the Food Inspectors with the Food Safety and Inspection Service. On May 25, 1995, in Hannibal, Jeffrey was married to Mindi Young who survives of the home. He enjoyed his family, dogs, woodworking and electrical projects.
Jeffrey is also survived by one daughter, Jenna Crawford Moore (William) of Lenexa, KS; a step son, Michael Barr (Amanda) of Willard; one sister, Michelle Kaiser (Wade) of Prairie Home; a brother, Todd Crawford (Teddi) of Lees Summit, paternal grandmother Grace Crawford of Nevada, MO, four grandchildren, Paige, Gracie, Michaela and Titus and several nieces and nephews.
His infant daughter Whitney Ann Crawford preceded him in death.
