MARC E. NELSON, 75, of rural Cherokee, Iowa, passed away Monday evening, December 14, 2020 at his farm home. It was Marc's wish to be cremated. There will be no services at this time. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Marc was born on January 6, 1945 at Cherokee, Iowa to Carl & Martha (Schau) Nelson.

Marc spent many years spreading the Gospel of Jesus by handing out tracts that explained how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He handed out tracts at NASCAR events and local race tracks and anywhere else throughout his many travels.

Marc enjoyed NASCAR, his cat Pookie, and the peace and quiet of his farm house where he spent a lot of time on his front porch. Marc deeply missed his wife Alice who passed away on April 30, 2019.

Thanks to everyone that helped Marc and Alice! This allowed Marc to fulfill his wish of living out his last days on the farm that he loved.
