WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Charlotte Rish Kennedy, 86, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday in the Chapel. Mrs. Kennedy was born December 3, 1928 in Frankfurt, Germany and passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015. She retired from General Electric. Survivors are her daughter, Edie Nix of West Columbia; son, Jimmy Rish, Sr. (Tina) of Greer; 3 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Norman Rish and second husband, William G. Kennedy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, 1400 Pickens Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
