William Douglas Sharp, Jr., age 78, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on January 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Madison County, AL on November 22, 1942 to the late William Douglas and Lucille Boles Sharp. Doug was a retired industrial sewing machine mechanic and was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Thompson, Vernell Moorehead and Glennis Pack.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, three sons, four sisters, brother, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Elora Cemetery with Tim Rice officiating. Visitation is Saturday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
