Paul was born on February, 12, 1947, in Kenosha, a son of Walter and Genevieve (Jusis) Gibson. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Academy High School. Following High School, Paul entered into service with the U.S. Army and served from 1966-1969. After serving in the Army, he attended Whitewater University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree. Paul was united in marriage to Margaret Mary Hart on April 9, 1983, at St John’s Catholic Church in Twin Lakes. He enjoyed collecting antiques, old memorabilia and selling items at the flea markets. He was an avid reader and loved his comic books.
Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Gibson; four children, Mike (Kelly) Gibson, Amanda Gibson, Wendy Gibson and step daughter, Christina Ivey; nine grandchildren, Jerry Nelson, Aprill Nelson, Adam Nelson, David Horonzy Jr., Killian, Lorelei, Emily, Alex and Megan Ivey; one great grandchild, Carter Tousignant; nephew, Todd Gibson, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Gilliver; brother, Walter Gibson and parents.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI. Military honors will be provided. Randolph Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.
